Ivo is a highly trained piano technician, who has trained and worked for some of the biggest names in the piano world, including Fazioli (London), Bosendorfer (Vienna), and Bluthner (Leipzig). It was actually at Bluthner (the London showroom) where we met. I was immediately impressed by this calm, quiet individual, who seemed to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the piano, but was completely down to earth and very warm and affable. As a result, when I set up StayTuned Piano Services, I knew straightaway that I wanted him as part of the team. I know, without a shadow of doubt, that my clients will be in very good hands with Ivo.
Anthony Osborne – Piano Moving
Tony, like myself, is also a professional opera singer, and has sung as part of the Glyndebourne chorus since 2006, starting out as a chorister at Ampleforth Abbey and Wells Cathedral. We actually met whilst doing Raymond Gubbay Opera at the Royal Albert Hall. I was impressed by Tony’s professionalism and it is this that he brings to his piano moving business, which he set up in 2011. Using specialised equipment, including bespoke covers, bespoke piano skids and trolleys, our trained team are fully equiped to move your piano safely and properly. Tony is polite, reliable, and takes great care in all that he does. I’m very happy to have him on board.
